How to Care for Your Candles
First Burn
The first burn is the most important! Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container (this usually takes 2-4 hours). This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
Trim the Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to about 5mm (¼ inch). This helps prevent smoking, ensures a clean burn, and extends the life of your candle.
Burn Time
Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. This helps maintain the quality of the fragrance and prevents the container from overheating.
Safety Tips
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep away from drafts, children, and pets
- Place on a heat-resistant surface
- Stop using when 1cm of wax remains at the bottom
Storage
Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and prevent discoloration.
Following these simple care tips will help you get the most out of your candles and enjoy them safely!
